At just 22 years old, Angel Reese is already among the most marketable basketball players on the planet.
Through a slew of sponsorship deals and her innate talent on the hardwood, Reese‘s profile has never been larger as she prepares for her second season with the WNBA‘s Chicago Sky.

The Sky is going to have a different look in 2025 as Chicago plots a return to the playoffs after missing out during Reese’s rookie season.
Center Kamilla Cardoso will return to health, and new coach Tyler Marsh has brought a different kind of energy to the team, which also added veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot to provide championship-level experience.
Preseason basketball on Reese’s birthday
It was confirmed Monday that Reese will be playing basketball on her birthday, 10 days before the 2025 WNBA season begins.
The Sky will take on last season’s WNBA Finals runners-up, the Minnesota Lynx — and Reese took to X/Twitter to reveal her excitement while pleading with fans to be there.
The Sky’s addition of Vandersloot, who helped Chicago win the 2021 WNBA Finals, has added to the excitement surrounding the franchise at the outset of Reese’s sophomore season.

While playing in the 3-on-3 Unrivaled league this winter, Reese has been working with women’s basketball legend Lisa Leslie to improve her game and become a more-complete player who is more of a threat in the restricted area.
The preseason contest against Minnesota, on Reese’s 23rd birthday, will give fans a snapshot of her progress.
