The View fans were left stumped after tuning into the show as usual this morning – only to discover that the episode was a repeat.
The beloved ABC talk show is officially off the air for the next six days while cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin take a much-needed rest.
Instead, the program is currently re-airing old interviews from guests including Donny Osmond and Mindy Kaling.
While it’s usual for the presenters to take a break for the Easter holidays, some audiences across the country were confused when they turned into the network.
Sharing their puzzlement on social media, one asked: ‘Why are we having repeats already?’
‘Today is a damn repeat,’ observed another.

The show is off the air until April 22 as the cohosts take a break for the Easter holidays
A third posted: ‘Oh my… #TheView is a re-run. Bye.’
The View will return with new episodes from next Tuesday, April 22 after the Easter weekend.
Upcoming guests set to feature on The View include actress Eva Longoria, actor Bowen Yang, model Christie Brinkley, and comedian Wanda Sykes.
The mini break comes after Joy, 82, was forced to miss three episodes last week due to sickness.
Additionally, The View was called out by conservatives for failing to feature right-wing guests.
New research from media watchdog Media Research Center (MRC) revealed the daytime show hosted a whopping 63 left-leaning guests from January through to April, but zero conservatives.
The report shows that while The View welcomed dozens of liberal voices, conservative perspectives were not included among guests during the entire first quarter of 2025, though it is unclear how many conservatives were invited to appear but declined to accept.
Among the left-wing guests were nine Democratic politicians, including Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

The show also invited Hollywood liberals, including John Leguizamo, Ellen Pompeo, Chelsea Handler and Bill Burr – who all made appearances on the ABC News program.
Nicholas Fondacaro, who conducted the study for NewsBusters, revealed the show’s upcoming guest list includes yet more Democrats but ‘not a single Republican politician nor celebrity with right-leaning politics.’
‘Who a program chooses to give a platform can tell you a lot about the nature of the show and what the hosts view as their mission,’ Fondacaro told Fox News Digital.
‘Having 63 liberal guests and zero conservatives, even after Trump’s inauguration, proved that the cast of The View have an agenda to flood the zone with left-wing political spin,’ he added.
