Clark is down with a left groin injury, something that will be monitored on a day-to-day basis.
She reported pain to the team on Wednesday night and was sent for an MRI.
“I think it’s very much a day-to-day thing how she responds to treatment,” Fever head coach Stephanie White said.
“But yeah, found out late last night and we will treat it day-to-day…
“C has shown that she is tough and she’s a quick healer, so we’ll see.”
White did not reveal what the results of the MRI were.
Clark only just recently returned to action after a quad injury held her out of five games this season.
She played just five more games before going down with the groin injury.
Clark is averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 assists, 5.0 rebounds in the games she has played this season.
The Fever are just 7-7 on the season.
Clark was in the middle of a shooting slump before going down with her recent injury.
She shot just five-for-29 from three in her last four games.
In the Fever’s most recent game against the Seattle Storm, Clark missed all six of her three-point shots.
After that game and the injury to Clark, the Fever signed point guard Aari McDonald and waived veteran DeWanna Bonner.

“We talked through that, had conversations, obviously made adjustments to lineups…
“We just couldn’t get it to a place where it felt good for her.”
